Best Survey Winner

Millikin University – Academics Survey
Survey Excerpt: This is a university of about 2,000 to 3,000 students. The college's academic strengths are in fine arts (music, commercial music, theatre and dance, etc.) and Business. I was a finance major in the school of business. The science programs are not too strong there, and the liberal arts I would say OK. Since I transferred in my junior year I c ... Read More

Best Survey Runner-Ups

Colorado Technical University – Admissions Survey
Survey Excerpt: The most important factor with college enrollments is first to pick and choose what is it that you want to major in college, (what do you want to learn?). All your life, the people that surround you on a daily basis, tell you or guide you into these decisions, but remember that you could never be GREAT, if you do not do the things you like and ... University of Houston: Graduate Humanities/Social Sciences/Education Degrees – Academics Survey
Survey Excerpt: There is a core of required courses and electives totalling thirty-six credits. These vary somewhat depending on your focus. Coursework for a Master's degree can be used to meet requirements of the PhD which then allows the individual more electives. Once coursework is completed, three examinations are required before work on the dissertati ... Read More
University of Florida (Levin) College of Law – Academics Survey
Survey Excerpt: The classes I have taken at UF Law have been top-notch. Professors are engaging and often well-respected for their publications. Most professors aren't socratic--you may get one or two first year, but it'll make you tougher. My crim professor, Jacobs, went through the entire class throughout the semester, drilling each student about the assigned ... Read More
Art Institute of Pittsburgh – Academics Survey
Survey Excerpt: Academic Nature of the Advertising B.S. Program: It is very deceiving, because people think the advertising would focus on art direction or copywriting, just because it's an art school. Unfortunately, not. It's more focused on the business side. In fact, one can just say it's a Marketing program, not an advertising program. Perhaps an advertisi ... Read More
Oklahoma City University: MBA – Academics Survey
Survey Excerpt: If the applicant's undergraduate degree is not business related, there will be up six classes that have to be made up before starting the Master's level program, including accounting and marketing. I found I was able to compensate for most of these through CLEP tests. Once in the program, there are 12 courses, or 36 hours, that must be completed. A ... Read More
